My twist on "Cake Pops"

When I tried this recipe on the cake pops my whole family thought it was way too sweet. So.... I thought why not buy donut holes? I then melted white and dark chocolate bark in the microwave, then dipped the donut into the dark chocolate let it set up then dipped the top into the white chocolate then put sprinkles on top. then did the oppostite of dipping into the white chocolate then topped it with the dark chocolate.
I found a great basket, filled it with florist foam, sprinkled crinkled colored paper on top. Then stuck in the donut holes. It makes a cute presentation and I think taste a whole lot better!

"Cake Pops"

This is a cute idea, when I tried it I found that it was a little too sweet, so up above I wrote what I did.

Zipper Flower Headband

This Headband is so cute and easy to make! I went to the Dollar Tree, Bought a package of 4 thin headbands for $1.00. Cover the headband with ribbon the color of the zipper flower. You can either wrap the headband with ribbon or I prefer to sew the ribbon to make a sleve for the headband to slide into. Hot glue the zipper flower onto the side. Add a circle piece of felt to the inside where you glue, to finish it off. You just made an adorable headband!!!
Have fun and be creative!!!

"Mother's Quilt"

This idea was thought of by my cousin Kathy Tell.
When her Mother died she took all of her Moms clothes and made a quilt out of them for her Brother and Sister as a memory to them. She added a label to the quilt which read: "This quilt was made in loving memory of
Betty Baker
(1918-2004)
using squares of her clothing
by her daughter
Kathy Baker Tell
2006
With my Mom just passing this week, I thought this was a great idea to do the same for my Sister and Brother and my children.

For all of you out there who would rather just buy a purse from me... I will make one for you,(with the fabric flower to match ) for only $15.00. Just go onto thur-goodies.com and order it under gifts.
I used the Big shot from stampin up ( I sell them if you need one!) I used the scalloped sqare. They are great! you can place 6 to 8 pieces of fabric in at a time, roll it through the machine and perfectly cut!
Click on the videos below to see how to make the purses!

I then added a fabric flower on the purse that you can wear or place on the purse, I love accessories.
